Full of Fall {Unity}

Hey there.
I'm sharing a fun project over on the Unity Blog Stamp Company blog today
using one of the recently released stamps for fall called
Full of Fall
Coloring this image was so fun.  You can go crazy with lots of detail or
just add basic colors throughout as I did. The sentiment is just beautiful.
Adding white gel really made the images stand out on the kraft card stock.

Full of Fall

I found a few pieces in the Unity Show and Tell group on Facebook that I'd like to share as well.
Fabulous colors and beautiful inspiration.

Eileen Mathys  created this stunning card with such a pretty background.

And next is Amanda Garrett's card.  Also from the Show and Tell group.
She used fantastic colors as well.

Fabulous job ladies.
I absolutely LOVE the creativity and inspiration found in that group.
Wishing you a beautiful day.

One Happy Life {Unity}

Happy Hump Day!
I'm over on the Unity Stamp Company Blog today sharing my planner page project.
I have had a lot of fun decorating my planner the past few months.
If you didn't see the new Planner Gal stamps you MUST check them out.

I started my August calendar with Planner Gal : One Happy Life.
Her pixie hair is THE cutest.  August is a big birthday month for our family.
I'm excited to get the dates filled in.

Planner Gal : One Happy Life

My Planner is a basic 8.5 X 11 size with a hard cover.
It's made by Mead and I picked it up at Target for only about 9 dollars.  The price was right and I love the size of the calendar blocks, lots of room for writing.

Have a happy day today....

It adds the perfect dimension without making your project too bulky.

Wanderlust {Unity SMAK}

WANDERLUST:
(n.) a strong desire to travel. to
understand ones very existence.

I'm on the Unity Stamp Company blog today sharing a project I created with the new
July SMAK kit.

This is definition is my FAVORITE part of this amazing July SMAK kit.

I created my first page layout in a very long time using a few
photos that I "borrowed" from my son.   He has always been a
wanderlust child and this kit suits him perfectly.

The background was so easy to create using the July kit and
some washi tape/paper additions.  You'll also see a bit of white
accented throughout.  A few touches with a gel pen really makes
the design stand out.

Thanks for letting me share my page with you.

You've Got a Friend in Me {Unity}

Doesn't the title of this post make you want to sing?
"You've got a friend in me...you've got a friend in me....not working for ya?"

Sorry

Ok, on to the post.

Today I'd like to share with you a darling stamp that was just released at
Phyllis Harris really knows how to tug the heart strings with her sweet, sentimental images, doesn't she?  I am in love with this scene and I hope you like it too.

Friend in Me

I very loosely water colored the image using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
And you'll notice the texture on the cloud?  That is added using Marvy Uchida Snow Marker.
There is a very quick video on my YouTube channel showing how I did this.

I added a close up for you to really see how "fluffy" the cloud appears.

Be sure to stop by Unity to enjoy the site wide sale going on right now.

This darling stamp set is yours as a gift when you make a purchase of $75
It's called Sweet Peas
designed by Tierra Jackson

Sweet Peas
I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens to color this cutie and just added a few touches of
white gel pen for accents...easy Peas-y

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Wishing you a fabulous weekend.

A Daisy and a Lady {UU}

Happy Friday!!

I'm over on the Unity Stamp Company Blog today with the newly released
Uniquely Unity Collection Membership Kit.

I absolutely fell in love with this kit called A Daisy and a Lady.

The flower is such a great size and that little lady .... just precious.

I used Copic Markers to shade the flower and Clear Wink of Stella for the sparkles.

The Die set that I used is from
the scallops are just the right touch
for my design.

So much inspiration from the DT this month...but what else is new, right?

I'm just going to share my projects and let you get to hopping.

Hello Little Birdie Kit by Tierra Jackson

I just used Copic Marker to shade in this image.
Tierra has added so much detail to this sweet birdie. LOVE IT.

My stash of "congratulations" cards is pretty slim so
this kit came out at the perfect time.

June Calendar Page

Hello!
Today I am sharing my first ever calendar page.
I have had this book since January and am just now getting brave enough to ink it up.
I am sharing this project on the Unity blog for the DT Tuesday Post.
I used the Angie Girl stamp   Best You - Emily girl.
She is pretty special to me because she reminds me of the time we
spent in Okinawa, Japan with our children while my husband was active duty.

I used Copic Markers to color in the image.
I stamped her off the page a bit as well so I would still have room for writing.

The other stamps you see are from a grab bag I received a LONG time ago.
I need to get busy and fill in the rest of the dates.

Thank you for stopping by today.
Enjoy these last few days of May!

Misti & Unity Stamp Company Co-hop

Welcome to the Unity Stamp Company / My Sweet Petunia Co-Hop.
I'm so excited to share with you my projects using the MISTI tool.
There is also a quick video to show you this wonderful little gem in action.

I had so much fun learning to use the MISTI tool for this card.
The stamp set is called Shrooms and to get the mirror image I used the
Mirror Image tool from Unity Stamp Company.

I just added a sentiment banner and a few strips of washi tape and the result is pretty cute.

NEXT .....
is a lovely foursome that I put together in a flash using the MISTI.
It was so quick and effortless with the
final project being this pretty set of 4 cards that I can share as a gift.

I distressed the edges of each card first, then stamped the image twice using
the MISTI tool.  As you can see the image imprint is clear and really stands out.

I used the stamp set by Phyllis Harris is called .....thank you kindly
The card bases for all of the cards is by Strathmore and it is #140
I wanted to mix up the sentiments a bit more so I added stickers so each one is different.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget... everyone who leaves a comment on all the blogs in the hop will go into a drawing for 3 prize packs from Unity and winner's choice of an Original or Mini MISTI. Please leave a comment by May 30th at noon central time to be eligible.

Winners will be posted on both the Unity and the My Sweet Petunia blogs on May 31st
