Hugs and Smiles

Hello Everyone!
I'm  here with you today in celebration of
Throwback Thursday at
Gotta love digging into your older stash to create something new.

My card today features two sentiments from the
Simply Said set.
We can always use more "hugs" and "smiles" in this crazy world.
I believe Simply Said may have been one of my very first CDD stamp purchases.
I love the variety and different fonts of these sentiments.
I also used the oval die from the Newly Released Banner Dies
I know...not "throwback" but still cool, right?
I love the crisp cut of these fun dies and of course the
stitching that everyone loves right now is so awesome.

Earth Day is right around the corner
so I went with a recycle theme.

My card base is actually a recycled file folder.
I love using those for my projects.  So sturdy and fun.
My papers are from My Mind's Eye and the ink is Memento.
The twine is unknown to me.  I saved it from a package I received
from another crafter.
Thanks for peeking in today.

Hi Donna...You just don't know how much the comment you left in my Blog yesterday had blessed me! There's a lot of time involved in creating the projects and sharing the message of the Gospel in my site and I admit that there are times, I would like to just keep it short. But I am reminded by the Holy Spirit why He commissioned me to this task and it's like what you said and I quote, "Imagine how many people your words reach and you don't even realize." That is exactly what empowers me to do what I do. I believe each of us are given a purpose which we are to fulfill at God's appointed season. He wants us to plant the seed (God's Word) into every man's heart as we obey His instructions (leading of the Holy Spirit). What the harvest would look like, only God knows. We are partakers of Jesus' ministry and at the time of gathering, He has promised us His eternal rewards. Thank you for your encouragement. Anyway, just want to acknowledge your wonderful creation you have here and I am loving the bright colors and the beautiful layering. Hugs always!

OMG Donna, this is so darn cute, adorable image and great composition. Thanks for your visit and sweet luv. I am leaving for a trip out of the country to Israel. So I will see you when I get back.

This. So much this! This right here is why I love the Internets. Because I get to see amazing, layered concoctions that inspire me so much! You, my dear, are a whiz at pairing together patterns! Wowzas! Thank you so much for your sweet words on my blog and for the crafty follow. I'll definitely be returning the favor!
This is fantastic. It's got a really cool retro vibe to it, and I love all the earthy materials. Far-out, man.
